Established in 1975, The Manatee Chamber of Commerce Better Business Council’s mission is to strengthen public confidence in Manatee County area business through the promotion of high standards of business ethics. The Manatee Better Business Council (BBC) receives no government or public funding and is 100% member supported. Members exemplify high professional standards and have an investment in their industry and in our community.

Membership Information
The Better Business Council offers its members a number of exciting services. Its mission is to strengthen public confidence in Manatee County area business through the promotion of high standards of business ethics.
Referral Services - acts as a business and informational referral network for the Manatee County area, referring BBC members whenever possible.
Reliability Reports - gives information regarding area businesses to consumers, ensuring customer confidence and encouraging them to do business locally.
Complaint Processing - handles customer complaints through a formal process and provides a method for businesses to address complaints.
Information - educates the public on smart consumer habits and warns against fraudulent practices.
